• Market Research  We take a boots on the ground approach to market research. Don' t expect a cookie cutter numbers based report that many large commercial real estate firms generate. Getting out there and talking with the community is how we do it. It all about do we smell money? Who is the target market? What is the sub-market competition is up to. The knowledge acquired during market research allows for an insightful design process.

• Branding  We have quite a knack for naming and branding communities. The process involves a lot of ridicule and torment within Define Design but in the end we create fantastic identities for our clients. Whether you are starting fresh on a new development or renovating/ repositioning an existing property or simply want to refresh an existing community we can provide a marketable brand.

• Programing We love an early start. In the programming and design development phase we instill our wisdom and guidance with you and your design team. We will use our skills and good taste to be your design advocate. We are team players and love creating holistic designs that honor the respective skills and talents of Architects, Landscape Architects and Land Planners. Just because we are team players does not mean we will promote mediocrity and group think. We are big on honor and loyalty so consider us your canary in the mine. We will alert you to any design conflicts that could hinder your investment. During the design development phase, Define Design will help your design team create engaging building elevations and forward thinking material selections. Define Design can work with your design team to development the floor plans for the Apartment units, Clubhouse, Leasing Office, and other common spaces. Every floor plan we generate is designed to be aesthetically pleasing and functional.  Floor plans are developed using real scale furniture so no electronic trickery here. We stay relevant with latest apartment amenities so you can stay ahead of the trends. We will work with the design team to curate the community amenities so that appeal to a specific target market and fit your budget.  Your amenity package can create a real competitive advantage and add tremendous value to your community. • Interior Architecture We are a full fledged Interior Design Firm. This is what we do best. We create fascinating and aspirational interiors that tell a story. A story that relates to the brand and relates most importantly to the residents. Relating to the residents is the path to success. Your brand is your promise.  When we make interior selections, whether it be flooring, faucets or paint colors, we make sure it relates to the brand. Thoughtful interior selections can create a harmony; where the sum is greater than the parts. We design with zero based budgeting in mind. We are firm believers that every dollar spent should perform. During the Interior Architecture phase Define Design will select just about everything your eyes see, from flooring to HVAC registers. We are big on follow through, which is why we create uber-detailed deliverables that include fabulous drawings and specifications. This insures your general contractor has all the information they need to correctly execute the design.

• Interior Decorating ​​Define Design brings it all together with beautiful and functional furniture, accessories and art. Many Interior Decorators can put together a great looking interior, but they often fail on function and durability. Define Design only selects and installs furniture that is appropriate for usage. This insures your investment will look great and perform for years to come. We only specify and supply contract rated furniture for use in clubhouses and common areas. Many other designers supply residential furniture which might save you money up front, but its not as durable and exposes your business to the potential of a costly lawsuit. Define Design offers procurement and installation service along the east coast. You can concentrate on your business while Define Design orders, inspects, stores and installs the furniture, art and accessories.
